Chiller Engineer - Hire & Service
A new Air Conditioning Engineer & Chiller Engineer role is available with one of our clients, who are a provider of both be-spoke cooling solutions & some commercial cooling for clients across the South of the UK as a Mobile Service Engineer.
They are a well known company who manufacturer their own solutions for clients with the critical & process cooling markets and this is a unique opportunity as is a duel Temp / Hire and Service AC & Chiller Role!
There will be e product training available, but the main role on the Hire side is to provide a service as directed by the service desk administrators for the installation, commissioning, decommissioning, troubleshooting & fault resolution, planned maintenance, and minor repairs of all types of rental equipment on customer sites (non 'fridge intrusive' repairs on refrigeration equipment, full range of repairs on boiler equipment) and on the Service side the client has requested candidates need to existing experience of working on air conditioning units, close control and water chillers (ranging from 50Kw+) that have been used in either a commercial or process type environments.
Tasks will cover:
Service & Maintenance / Installation and commisioning
Trouble Shooting, Fault Finding & Repairs
Successful Service Engineers Need To Have;
Product knowledge of the following is useful = McQuay, Climaveneta, Daikin, Airedale, Trane, Bluebox, etc
Chiller machines could vary from 50Kw to over 500Kw depending on the cooling requirements of the application. Refrigeration Engineers should possess strong fault finding & repair (mechanical & electrical) skills (ie being able to identify & replace fault expansion valves, compressors, leaks, etc)
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
C&G or NVQ 2 in AC & Refrigeration to Level 2 &/or Level 3
Valid Safe Handling is Essential (F-Gas 2079 Cat 1 or CITB)
Product courses on chillers & AC would be very beneficial
Previous experience working on air conditioning & chiller or chilled water machines is essential
Willingness to undertake & learn new skills & techniques
Prepared to cover a fairly large working area across the South, with the possibility Engineers may be asked to stay away on depending on workload & nature of contract.

Salary & Package -
This is negotiable depending on someone's experience in the industry and the knowledge they have in the industry, but around GBP28-32K , plus D2d travelling time good overtime
