Press Setter

The company are a successful manufacturer of metal pressings, springs, wire forms, welded assemblies and engineered parts. They have been trading for well over 50 years and are looking to strengthen their team with this role.

The company is based in Redditch so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich.

Duties to include are;

Setting and operation of various power presses
Carry out tool changes
Ensure correct health and safety procedures are followed at all timesI welcome applications from press setters who have the following skills and expertise;

Expertise of operating and setting power presses up to 160 ton
Experience of progression presses
Experience of CNC roll feeds
Hold a ROSPA or equivalent cert
Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards and procedureHours for role are 8am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday & 8am to 1pm on Friday
