An established new build warranty provider are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor from a Building Control, Site Inspection or Structural Warranty background to cover their Inverness to Aberdeen region. Suitable applicants will have new build inspection experience and degree qualification or equivalent. Starting salary of up to GBP45,000.
The home-based role would involve monitoring construction standards of small to large scale new build residential developments in their North West region defined within Stockport, Macclesfield, Northwich and Lymm.
As a Building Surveyor, your role will involve the following:
Site inspections and surveys on projects that are either completed or under construction
Ensuring work is completed to a standard which complies with current regulations, technical manuals, and health and safety
Completing reports and documentation based on findings
Frequent liaison with peers and management on technical mattersThe successful Building Surveyor will meet the following criteria:
Previous role experience as a Building Control / Structural Warranty Inspector or Clerk of Works
Associate/full member status of RICS/CABE/CIOB/ICWCI
Degree/ NVQ Level 6 qualified in construction related discipline
Understanding of general insurance principles and defect diagnosis
Technical inspection knowledge of standards throughout the build process
In depth knowledge of relevant regulations and health & safety legislation
Full UK driving licenceSurveyor benefits:
Salary up to GBP45,000 per annum dependent on surveyor experience
GBP300 monthly car allowance
Annual salary reviews
