We are looking for a passionate and committed Payroll Team Leader to join our Head office Payroll Department. As a Team Leader you will support the Payroll Manager & Payroll Team in providing a professional and responsive Payroll Service to customers both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the payroll administrators on a day to day basis.
• Manage the cover/allocate weekly payrolls when members of the dept are absent.
• Process a monthly payroll.
• Produce when required ad-hoc Payroll reports.
• Resolve complex employee queries, if the payroll administrator is unsure.
• Provide training/development to other members of the team.
• Process year end.
• Ensure the Payroll Administrators are compliant with Sox procedures.
• Ensure accurate and on time information.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent attention to detail
• An advanced level of Excel knowledge (VLookUp, Pivot tables)
• Advanced knowledge of payroll & government legislation
• Understanding of RTI and Auto Enrolment
• Ideally knowledge of Zellis Resourcelink and Open Options Time and Attendance systems
