THE COMPANY:
Based in the Halifax area, this is a growing business which has a great reputation for developing their employees. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and highly regarded finance team on a temporary basis. The role is expected to last for a minimum of 3 months and has the potential to become permanent.
THE JOB:
It is a fast paced and varied role, the main duties include but are not limited to:
Processing sales invoices.
Bank reconciliations.
Petty cash management.
Processing purchase ledger invoices.
Assisting with payment runs.
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Resolving supplier queries.
Assisting the payroll team as and when needed.
Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
THE PERSON:
Previous experience in a varied transactional finance role.
A willingness to help out teammates when necessary.
Excellent communication skills.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
A positive attitude when faced with queries.
