Escape Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operator with a Forklift License for our client based in Grangemouth. This is initially on a 12-month contract but may be extended for the right candidate.
Salary will start at GBP20,000 but can increase to GBP24,000 after completion of training.
Rotating weekly shift pattern of dayshift and backshift.
* Dayshift - Monday to Friday 06.00 to 14.00
* Backshift - Monday to Thursday 13.30 to 20.00. Friday 12.00 to 1800
The shift differential is GBP3,000 per year.
The Role
Carry out routine warehouse operations and activities in a safe manner to cGMP standards. Assist with all warehouse operations and waste management process on site. This will include:
* Booking in of all materials
* Sampling of raw materials for QC testing
* Meeting agreed production schedules via stock picking for manufacturing process orders and ad-hoc requests for additional materials
* Stock control/inventory management using SAP system
* Housekeeping - ensure the warehouse facilities are kept in a compliant manner and action any housekeeping issues according
* Shipment of materials to and from customers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory authorities and customer requirements
* Be able to join the departmental rota for the warehouse on-call team
Essential Experience
* Warehousing and inventory control
* Have a working knowledge of ESH standards and safety matters, together with highly developed interpersonal skills
* GMP
* SAP
* Counterbalance, Reach or VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift truck licence holder/experience
The Person
* Good attention to detail - due to the GMP requirements associated with the job
* Teamwork - working as part of the Warehouse team is vital in this role
* Must have the ability to plan and prioritise workload
* Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Instructions
* Thoroughness - checking accuracy of own work and colleagues work helps maintain ongoing accurate control of SAP inventory
* Must work safely and adhere to site safety policies
