My client is a family run company, based near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced LGV Technician whose role will be to support the business in maintaining the roadworthiness of its vehicles and trailers, while working to high standards of workmanship and competence in performing tasks associated with general maintenance and servicing of vehicles.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum qualification NVQ Level 3 LGV Mechanic
- Previous experience in a similar role for at least 2 years
- Adaptability to undertake a wide range of tasks
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
- A valid LGV C or C+E license would be an advantage but is not essential
