Night Loader

We are recruiting for a large distribution company, responsible for moving high volumes of stock daily. Located in Aylesford, Maidstone, the company operates 24/7 and requires Night Loaders for temporary to permanent roles.

The position offer GBP9.75 per hour, which is paid weekly every Friday. Extrastaff offer referral incentives as well as flexible working and opportunities to suit you.

The role of a Night Loader is to scan and sort good, which are processed through an automated conveyor belt. The company is busy, and the role can be fast paced. Applicants should be physically fit and this position will involve persistent standing. Candidates should have an eye for detail as spotting barcode numbers and reading locations will be a consistent requirement.

Shifts tend to start between 20:00 and 23:00, with finish times usually between 06:30 and 08:00 the following morning. Start times are dictated depending on the volume of Goods being processed.

Should you move temporary to permanent there are progression opportunities within the company. The pay rate uplifts, hourly, as well as the chance for overtime pay. The Business also has a structured management programme or Loaders can enrol on a warehouse to wheels scheme and gain their HGV Category C Licence.
