South Norfolk and Broadland Council have an exciting opportunity for you to joins us as a Vehicle Maintenance Apprentice based at our Ketteringham Depot, near Hethersett NR9 3AZ. You will join full time, fixed term contract for 40 months in return for a competitive salary of GBP12,070 - GBP17,321 per annum.

Responsibilities of our Vehicle Maintenance Apprentice:

You will help provide an efficient and reliable service, maintaining refuse, HGV and other vehicles.

This Vehicle Maintenance Apprentice role incorporates completion of Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification. This will require study at an external training provider.

What we're looking for in our Vehicle Maintenance Apprentice:

- Good attention to detail with an ability to complete and maintain accurate records to a high standard

- Good team player and be flexible with your approach towards work

- Great customer service skills

- Motivated and committed to complete the Apprenticeship Programme

- Good time management skills

- GCSE grade A*- D (9-3) (or equivalent) in English and Maths

- An understanding of the importance of health and safety and committed to high standards

- Able to work early, late or at weekends as required.

- A current UK driving licence or willingness to undertake
