Data Analyst (Alteryx / PowerBI)

The role will be based in Belfast, however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you may be asked to work in other locations and beyond, sometimes at short notice and sometimes over lengthy periods of time. Your desire and ability to do this will be discussed as part of the recruitment process. Candidates who are unable or do not wish to work on projects in other locations will still be considered.

The role will require a specialism as a Data Analyst with experience in using Alteryx, Power BI/Tableau, SQL and Excel. The job responsibilities will vary depending on client needs but will predominantly involve solving technology problems for clients including the delivery of complex dashboards, Alteryx workflows and a variety of management information reports.

Key skills
  • SQL / SQL Server

  • Strong working knowledge of Alteryx

  • Tableau / PowerBI dashboard development

  • Good communicator

Requirements

We're looking for candidates with the following :

Essential

  • Previous 2 years experience working as a Data Analyst in a corporate function

  • Knowledge and/or certifications in most of the following technological disciplines -

    • Alteryx (Core or Advance certification)

    • PowerBI / Tableau

    • SQL

    • Excel

  • Demonstrable experience of success within a range of complex project environments and sectors

  • Proven ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Proven analytical and sceptical mindset with an ability to develop solutions to technical problems


Preferred
  • Undergraduate degree (e.g. BA, BSc)

  • Previous experience working within a relevant industry
