Store Detective
Salary: GBP34,000 - GBP36,000
Hours: Day shifts (4 on 4 off)
Location: Central London
We are looking for a high-level loss prevention specialist to undertake a covert role across several high-profile Central London locations. This position offers a fantastic salary, working environment and the opportunity to join a world renowned global brand.
Applicants should have experience within the retail loss prevention, retail security, Police or similar sector. The role will see you undertake covert store detective duties across stores. The main focus of the role will see you actively highlight, identify and apprehend shoplifters.
This is a permanent role and offers opportunity for long term career progression.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* We are looking for applicants with experience in a similar role as a Store Detective or Loss Prevention Investigator
* SIA License
* Happy to work in dynamic retail environments and actively apprehend and detain shoplifters
* Experience working with stakeholders such as the Police
* The ability to develop and gather intelligence on issues relating to crime
* Able to provide detailed verbal and written reports
Your duties will include:
* Actively highlight, identify and apprehend shoplifters.
* Develop an intelligence driven approach to deterring crime
* Utilise a high-level of surveillance skills to protect property, staff and visitors
* Work closely with local police and enforcement teams
* Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
* Identify any patterns of hostile reconnaissance
* Provide assistance with investigations into stock loss
* Monitoring CCTV systems
