Vendor Master Data Analyst (12-month contract)
Bolton
GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 per annum + company benefits
A new opportunity has risen for an experienced Vendor Master Data Analyst join one of my client's global support services teams on a permanent basis.
As the Vendor Master Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the overall quality of the vendor master data within ERP Systems, abiding by the vendor master data policies, and the management of vendor and employee related creation and amendments. Accountable for achieving agreed levels of customer service, timely performance of tasks defined in policies and procedures, quality data processing.
Responsibilities include:
Full review of all requests for completeness and accuracy to drive adherence to Procurement, Vendor set up and Data Protection Policies.
Creation and amendment of Vendor and Employee Master data in the ERP system in line with company policies.
Regular review and analysis of vendor and employee master data in the ERP System
Alignment of master data between ERP and subsystems.
Regular review of existing master data for completeness, accuracy and continuous improvement opportunities
Assisting with internal/external audit activities
Identification and appropriate follow up of opportunities for increased accuracy, efficiencies, standardization and rationalization of vendor master data
Ensuring accuracy and proper storage of Tax documentation
Ensuring accuracy, validation and proper storage of Banking information
Meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements regarding timeliness of processing Vendor data requests
Identification and support of vendor data cleansing activities
Annual tax reporting and maintenance of supporting data
Management of special projects as needed in addition to daily activitiesExperience Required:
Previous Vendor Master or Employee Master Data experience
ERP system experience
Strong attention to detail
Ideally have data master cleansing and/or rationalization experience
Have a good understanding of policy
