Field Service Engineer
North UK (Manchester, Yorkshire, Leeds, Newcastle, Middlesborough)

They are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer in the North of England to join their experienced team. The role is a varied position covering planned servicing, repairs, installations and breakdown support on customer sites across the North of England.

The Role
The role of the Field Service Engineer will involve:
You will be working from home covering customer sites across the North of England covering areas including Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle and Middlesbrough. Your day to day role will involve:
Planned servicing on pump systems at customer sites - this will include checking alignments on equipment, changing filters, checking electrical connections and carrying out a general welfare check on the engine and pump.
Identifying any repair work required on the system during the service to allow the company to quote for the repair.
Carrying out repairs including replacing electrical components (batteries, sensors, relays) and changing gaskets, cylinder heads or solenoids.
Being part of installation teams at site for new equipment installations - this mainly includes commissioning the equipment once it's installed to ensure the system works correctly.
You will initially receive two weeks product training where you will get exposure to building the equipment and will then shadow an engineer on the road before beginning to work on your own in the field.
The Candidate
To be successfully in your application for this Field Service Engineer role you will need:
Experience in the service and repair of engines.
Experience with 12/24V DC Electrical systems would be advantageous.
Happy to work in the field and travel across the region.
