Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arose for an experienced Animator with a strong portfolio to work with a leading gaming team in a AAA game environment. This position is for an Animator with very strong animation abilities, who is able to work autonomously and drive the vision of the game with their own input.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside an incredibly talented team and should have real passion about animation with an excellent artistic ability.

Responsibilities

To create bespoke animations and drive animation direction
Help inform design and production decisions and problem solve animation issues
Responsible for creating / implementing animation content to an excellent standard
Quality control of content in their specialism
To make balanced and rational decisions on the production of assets
To deliver content on schedule and within technical limitationsRequirements

Excellent knowledge and working experience of Maya
Strong portfolio
High quality animation skills including; bipedal, quadruped and facial animation
Experience with motion capture animation
Some knowledge of working with cut scenes is a bonus
Experience of working within at least one full project cycle in a content creation role
Extremely passionate about animation
Excellent artistic ability
Well organised and proactive
