Part time Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant
Hemel Hempstead
Approx. 22/23 hours per week
My client in Hemel Hempstead is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to work within their property business.
This is a varied role which will include:
Handling, paying and filing client invoices - checking them against fee quotes. Some experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is preferred.
Dealing with the purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliation.
Monthly VAT returns for a number of SPV's.
Management of Payroll.
Reporting of management Accounts to the Directors.
Comply and submit Companies House statutory filing requirements.
Working closely with accountants to prepare year-end accounts.
Maintaining office supplies by keeping an inventory and ordering new supplies as needed.
Providing administrative and clerical support as needed.
Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management.
This will suit an individual with experience in QuickBooks and a knowledge of the property sector. You must be AAT/ACCA part qualified or equivalent and have excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Other experience will include:
Intercompany, multiple company accounting and strong journal and posting experience
Experience with VAT Returns
Strong numeracy and excel skills to an intermediate / advanced level
Payroll experience
Strong digital filing
