Sales Support Administrator

Work with the industry leader

Our client is made up of a team of crack technology experts in solution design, delivery and customer service. Their focus is high-quality services and support, specialising in Enterprise Network Infrastructure, Collaboration and Security. They are one of only four Cisco Partners in the UK to hold both Cisco Gold and Master Collaboration status.

Their engineers and solutions architects are accredited to the highest standards to ensure they’re always implementing the best proven and tested solution to their customers. Their leadership is headed by two former Cisco employees, and under their leadership, the company has enjoyed a loyal and diverse customer base which has allowed them to experience year over year growth since their inception in 2006.

As the leader in the UK Cisco channel, our client is looking to expand their team so they can continue to increase their market share. They are seeking an accomplished, articulate person to join their bright, tight-knit team and help them to grow.

How our client will help you make the most of your skills

Naturally, you'll have the tenacity to work independently. But that doesn't mean you won't have our client’s support. They provide full training on their process as well as their product ranges, and the pros and cons of different solutions. They'll also train you in how to use their case management and quoting systems.

Your Team Lead is there to provide help when you need it, and leave you alone when you don't!

This isn't a sales role. You don't have to do cold calling (our client has a specialised inside sales team for that!), however they do expect you to help guide customers to come up with the best possible solution for their requirements.

What you need to bring to the table

If you don't like talking to customers and vendors, this isn't the role for you. But if you have the ability to quickly pick up the product portfolio and go that extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service, you’ll settle into this role just fine.

Customer service or inside sales experience. You know how to work with customers to give and provide information needed to fulfil orders and resolve issues. A resume glowing with outstanding references and applicable experience will go a long way to securing this role.

Comfortable talking on the phone. This is a customer-facing role: the way to speak with customers is over the phone and via email. You know how to sound professional and maintain your calm.

You're inquisitive. You have a passion for learning about products and can articulate them with perfection to customers.

CRM experience. You have experience with a ticketing system, ideally Connectwise Manage. (Of course, our client will also provide training on how to use systems)

You're organised. There's a difference between saying you're organised and actually being organised.

The ability to have a laugh and work as part of a team. What’s the point if you can’t have an occasional laugh and bit of fun with your work friends!

Other organisations may call this role Customer Service Executive, Account Manager, Client Account Executive, Customer Account Manager, Customer Support Advisor, or Product Support Executive.

“So, what’s in it for me?” you ask?

Our client prides themselves for being a culture-based company buzzing with high energy. Aside from the enthusiastic environment, you'll enjoy:

- Salary of £20,000 - £30,000 DOE
- Vitality Healthcare
- Company pension
- Life insurance
- 25 days’ holiday and statutory days (8)
- Professional development and career growth opportunities
- Awesome team members
