Curriculum Area Manager – Performing Arts

Salary: £34,615 - £37,391 plus excellent benefits

Hours: Full time

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Curriculum Area Manager to oversee the Performing Arts curriculum and support team members.  The successful candidate will work with team members to deliver an inspiring curriculum across Level 2 and Level 3 courses and ensure quality and standards across the curriculum. The post holder will programme lead and tutor A Level Drama.  In addition to supporting the curriculum, the post holder will oversee the Performing Arts Academy and enrichment provision and work with external partners such as the Northcott Theatre and Barnfield Theatre to provide opportunities to enrich the student experience. 

Successful applicants should have experience of working with learners from different educational backgrounds and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.  Applicants should demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of exam board specifications and should have excellent knowledge of the arts and a passion for Drama.  Knowledge and experience of tutoring is essential as well as a commitment to teamwork to join this high performing team.
