Quantity Surveyor Job profile
The position is for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a specialist contractor on a new design & build data centre construction project in the north of Denmark.
Quantity Surveyor specification
The following will be required of the Quantity Surveyor:
Experience in building envelope, civils, roofing, underground, cladding, steel, foundations
Ideally prior experience working on data centre or pharmaceutical construction projects
Secondarily, experience working on heavy industrial, sheds, ect.
Prior experience working for sub-contractorsQuantity Surveyor Key activities
The successful Quantity Surveyor candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Cost Planning
Cost Management
Procurement administration
Contract documentation
Contract administration
Financial reporting
Dispute resolution and negotiation
Data administrationQuantity Surveyor Personal Skills and Qualifications relevant to the Role
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be the following:
Able to manage own packages
Assertive, with good communication skills
Ideally degree-qualified, but non-essential
Ideally MRICS, but non-essential
