Technical Services Manager - Maternity Cover

Have you got extensive experience in Food Manufacturing?
Do you know Quality Management Systems, inside and out?
If so, then I need to speak with you.
I'm currently working with an expanding and developing Food Manufacturing company based in South Lincolnshire who, over the last 12 months, have shown consistent growth and development. To help them continue on that same path, they're in need of an experienced Technical Services Manager to cover maternity leave over the next 9 months.
As the Technical Services Manager, you'll take ownership and overall responsibility for the QMS, as well as other systems, whilst leading a small team of Technical Experts. Your understanding of Food Safety, and associated systems and procedures, will be exceptional and you'll have a solid comprehension of GFSI Food Assurance Standards.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
?? Manage and maintain the site's Quality Management System
?? Co-ordinate the delivery of all internal audit programmes, assessing Food Safety and Quality standards
?? Produce and Maintain Customer Technical Specifications and Technical information systems
?? Manage and demonstrate the Chain of Custody
In order to carry out your above responsibilities, amongst others, you will need to have gained the following experience and be able to demonstrate the follow skills:
?? Extensive experience working with GFSI Food Assurance standards, with enough of an understanding to explain the standards to all levels of the business
?? Experience working with the leading UK Major Retailers and Manufacturing Groups
?? Great working experience of HACCP, VACCP and TACCP
?? Lead assessor/BRC auditor, with past experience and training in doing so
