Are you a part/ newly qualified management accountant with a manufacturing background? We are recruiting for a Management/ Project Accountant to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Hereford. Competitive salary plus 25 days holiday working Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm (although 8-4 would be considered also).
As Management Accountant reporting into the Group FD and working in a team of 6, you would be responsible for all management accounting activities weekly, monthly and annually as well as all sales pricing and cost of sales information for all products.
You will prepare monthly management accounts to cost of sales and gross profit level, introduce performance metrics to the factory, support budgeting and forecasting process and prepare board packs.
As the company has large growth plans, your role will be crucial in controlling the costs of investments into a new production line as well as a new finance and logistics ERP system. In supporting this growth, you will aim to reduce costs as well as mange and evaluate the risks associated with these projects.
It is essential you have a professional qualification in ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA with previous experience as a Management Accountant from a manufacturing or industry background. Experience in project management would be advantageous with strong analytical skills. You will be an advanced user of Excel, with high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
