Marketing Manager

Salary GBP28,000 for 2.5 days per week.

Based: Bristol

This Bristol based technology company provides unique and innovative solutions for utility businesses with a highly efficient and green alternative to current methods processing waste. They have won some high profile contracts and are now investing in the business to support significant long-term growth.

The role focusses on developing and executing marketing activities to generate sales leads, enquiries, and engagement for the business.

Responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of their product and underlying science and processes.
• Identify the key decision makers and influencers in the utility industry to target
• Build a marketing plan for customers/customer segments, that is focussed on getting engagement and driving actions.
• Create email, web, and LinkedIn content and send to target customers.
• Research conferences (speaking/panel opportunities) and exhibitions that should be attended.
• Manage the social media accounts for the CEO and Sales Director
• Create case studies (video, online and printed) or whitepapers
• Take responsibility for all company collateral and be the voice of the company
• On-going update and enhancement of the company website content.

Background and Skills:

• Marketing experience gained within a B2B environment
• Very strong written, communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable using multiple social media channels
• Metric driven and understanding of the importance of generating sales leads for the business.
• Able to grasp technical concepts and build a strong understanding of the business
• Able to use CRM systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Hands-on attitude and strong delivery focus.
• Ideally Degree qualified in a marketing related subject.
