The company provides installation of Generators to all industries, from Hospitals, festivals, renewable energy, telecoms, general construction and is the largest supplier to the utilities sector. Generator Power has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for a 4 on 4 off Night Shift Service Engineer to join our team at our Normanton depot.
4 on, 4 off Night Shift service engineer 7pm to 8am, 13 hour shift with 1 hour unpaid meal break
Duties/Responsibilities
Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers equipment.
??Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment.
??Preparation of diesel engine generators for hire.
??Loading and unloading of vehicles.
??Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy..
?? Operate forklift truck.
?? Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
?? Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
?? Safeguard all Company assets; nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork. .
Qualifications/Skills required:
?? GCSE High school or equivalent.
?? ADR Hazard awareness / ADR Class 3 tanks and core packages (Desired but training can be provided)
?? Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desired but training can be provided)
?? B+E Towing entitlement on driving licence
??Engineering Qualifications.
??City and guilds in plant maintenance/ HGV maintenance or similar.
