CSP are offering an opportunity to an experienced Payroll Clerk/Administrator to join the UK's premier logistics company, who are an approved partner to a major supermarket chain.
Based in Lutterworth, this position is on an initial temporary basis, but for the right candidate there is a permanent position available upon completion of a 3 month trial period.
For an immediate start, the hours are Monday to Friday on a day shift and the hourly rate is GBP11.05ph dependent on experience and background.
You will be working within the accounts team, but be solely responsible for the end to end process of all payroll. Your duties will include:
* Efficiently manage all payroll accurately and timely for approx 400+ employees
* Process high volume monthly payroll
* Managing leaver payroll, including outstanding accrued holiday pay/P45 issue
* Managing new starter information
* Processing all year end payroll
* Company car/expenses
* Producing monthly payroll reports via system
* Liaise with multiple departments to resolve payroll queries
As the Payroll Clerk/Administrator, your experience/background should be:
* Have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in Payroll
* Be experienced in high volume processing of payments
* Used to working to strict deadlines
* Have experience of SSP/SMP/SPP calculations including manual adjustments
* Ideally have worked in a Logistics/Distribution/Production environment
* If you have any HR experience, that would also be beneficial
* Be proficient in payroll systems such as Moorepay
