Software Development & Technical Implementation Associate

TAGNitecrest is the preferred EMV chip card issuance partner for leading fin-techs in Europe. If you are a customer of an innovative bank challenger, chances are that your card was produced and personalised by our group based in Leyland, Lancashire in UK and other locations within Europe. Due to company expansion we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our technical team.

Essential Skills

• Approx. 7+ years of experience in software development and/or technical operations.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilising the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technologies.
• Experience in software development using C#.
• Experience in .NET framework, MVC, MS SQL Server and MySQL.
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio to efficiently create a solution.
• Must be able to skilfully prioritise and manage concurrent projects and issues.
• Strong communication ( written & verbal ) skills.

Desirable:

• Experience of PHP.
• Experience of Linux.
• Experience of delivering technical products/solutions to cards product/operations team in a bank, fin-tech or financial services company.
• Microsoft Access.
• Knowledge of smart cards & EMV standards would be beneficial.

Typical tasks in a working day:

• Develop, deploy and test software solutions as per customer requirements or to improve efficiency of internal systems and processes.
• Setup/On-board customers onto our primary data processing system.
• Work on implementing change requests raised by existing customers.
• Deal with production issues raised by customer service, card personalisation and other internal teams.
• Help in setting up carrier templates or on-demand print configurations using internal carrier printing solution (GMC).
