Part-time Payroll Manager/Payroll and Accounts full-time

Prestigious local organisation are seeking either a part-time Payroll Manager (3 days per week) or a full-time person to run Payroll and cover accounts work.
Reporting into the FD and working in a small finance team, you will be responsible for:
Reporting & Information
Processing joiners and leavers
Preparing and reporting on weekly wage cost
Maintenance of all P11d taxable benefits information
Respond to emails concerning payroll matters (pay/payslips/holidays/sickness) etc
Issuing and posting P45s
Issuing payslips to employees
Preparing and posting month end payroll journals into Sage
Checking and preparing pension files
Processing Maternity and Paternity Leave requests (relevant letters etc)
Preparing holiday balance costings
Updating staff with any changes, bank details etc.
If you are interested in the role on a full-time basis, there will be additional transactional accounts work to bring the role up from 3 to 5 days.
To be successful in your application you will have previous Payroll experience. Knowledge of Excel would be advantageous but you do not need to be a whiz!!!!
This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Thetford, Newmarket, Sudbury, Haverhill and all surrounding villages.
