Position - Support Worker

Location - Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary - GBP17,500 to GBP18,100 per annum (the latter is paid if you are 25 or over)

Hours - 37.5 hours per week (shifts are across a 7 day rota and the patterns are 07:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 22:00 and sleep ins as required)

About the Service - This service is a supported living service for 4 adults with learning disabilities, autism, down syndrome and challenging behaviour. The service users are between the ages of 21 and 27.

Duties- The purpose of the role is to help the service users live as independently as possible. Duties include: supporting them with daily tasks (e.g. cooking and cleaning), carrying out personal care (e.g. bathing and dressing), assisting with medication, promoting independence, upholding their rights, etc.

Type of person required - The successful candidate will be eager to help support adults with learning disabilities and have a positive can-do attitude.

Experience - The ideal candidate will have some form of support worker/ care experience however this is not essential as full training will be provided. It is essential that you can drive with access to your own car.
