Production Planner - Food Industry

You will be based in a hardworking and high achieving team, who are focused on satisfying their customers so a smooth-running production line is imperative

Working within a business that operates within the Food and Drink Industry, this is naturally a fast-paced environment, meaning you will be involved in a wide range of duties and be able to really develop your Planning skills. You'll have the opportunity to join a fun-filled team who can offer plenty of support, whilst keeping you busy.

Roles and Responsibility

• Gather a full understanding of all processes on site to enable efficient planning
• ?? Create and deliver production plans for site to meet customer's forecast and actual orders
• ?? Input and reconcile factory production to ensure adherence to plan
• ?? Check and ensure orders are correct and put into appropriate systems for 3rd party to then deliver to our customer within time deadlines
• ?? Expedition of time critical items as directed by senior management
• ?? To ensure continuous supply of products to achieve plans and orders
• manage stocks of third-party products, ensuring full availability, with minimal wastage

To Be Successful as a Production Planner

• Commercially driven and ambitious
• ?? Have at least 3 years' experience within a Production Planning environment ideally Food or FMCG but will also consider manufacturing environments
• ?? Enthusiastic and motivated with" a can do will do "attitude
• ?? Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, analytical and attention to detail skills
• ?? Clear communication face to face, written and via the telephone
• The ability to plan ahead, whilst working to deadlines and target
