Job role: Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Truro
Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP35,000

Hours: M-F Days (45hrs)
An exciting new mobile HGV technician vacancy based in the Truro area has arisen for a Skilled, Mobile HGV Technician. Reporting directly to the Regional Engineering Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, inspection and repair work to company and customer vehicles in line with VOSA standards.
My client is a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance organisation with large depots all over the country, they are actively seeking to employ an experienced Mobile HGV Mechanic to cover the Croydon and Gatwick area
As a Mobile HGV Mechanic you will be required to:
Take care of running defects
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects
MOT preparations and presentations
The successful applicant will be a fully qualified HGV Mechanic with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ) and ideally hold a Class 1 driving licence, we will look at applicants with a Class 2 licence
Hours of work for this Mobile HGV Mechanic are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday.
The contracted hours of work are from 07:00 to 16:30 Monday - Friday.
You will be provided with a company van, fuel card and you will be paid for your travelling time.
The annual salary for this Mobile HGV Mechanics role will be GBP35,000 per year, overtime paid at 1.5 X
