Data Analyst
We are currently recruiting for an Information Governance Officer on behalf of our client based in St Asaph. The overall purpose of this role is to promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to support and improve health care delivery.
The main duties of this position will be:
* Providing support to the Information Governance Manager
* Inputting and analysing data in line with data protection act
* Dealing with customers over the phone
* Providing non clinical advise to customers over the phone
* Collecting and interoperating complex information from customers
* Undertaking audits in relation to data protection and records management
* Communicate internally and externally in relation to sensitive and confidential data
* Ensure that relevant information governance policies are relevant and up to date in line legislation
* General administration duties
The successful candidate will:
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be highly organised and have the ability to work to deadlines
* Poses a positive attitude towards work
* Be an enthusiastic team player
* Have knowledge of information management, governance and data security
* Have knowledge of information governance legislation such as data protection act
Due to the location of the role own transport is essential.
Previous experience of working within a similar environment and working to strict deadlines would be a great advantage.
