Cornwall and Isles of Scilly People Hub
Cornwall Development Company is recruiting additional roles for a new and exciting service. The People Hub will provide an important focal point for eligible residents across the county, combining direct employment and skills support through a dedicated team based across the county, as well as providing a critical referral service to all other employment and skills provision across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Our goal is to support over 1,600 individuals with employment and skills support.
Part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), with investment from Cornwall Council and using specialist delivery partners, the project will either connect eligible residents directly to our network of providers, or deliver support based on Information Advice and Guidance principles to help remove barriers to employment.
The People Hub is an unprecedented opportunity to provide a focal point for all those looking to progress with training or into employment. It will make a real difference to hundreds of lives in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. If you have the skills and passion needed to help us achieve this goal, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
We are seeking an experienced Partnership Manager to lead the co-ordination of the supply chain of delivery partners at a strategic level and ensure that interactions and referrals of participants take place in a smooth and efficient manner to maximise the performance of the contract.
The post holder will:
- Drive the activity of the contract in relation to promotion of the project and attract participant sign ups, often in some of the most isolated and rural areas of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
- Ensure that the supply chain of delivery partners work closely together in order to share good practice and co-ordinate promotional activity, including consented case studies
- Implement an effective strategy for engaging with employers in order to maximise job opportunities for participants
Closing date: 9am, Friday 23rd October 2020
