My client are now looking a Electrician to join them out of their Buxton site due to growth in the business. As an Electrician, you will carry out repairs and maintenance/inspections and testing to the 18th edition regulations in a safe and proper manner. You will be expected to ensure that all properties are maintained to the highest possible standards and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met whilst providing a high standard of service to customers. It will be fast, it will be challenging, but it will also be rewarding. It'll also set you on the right track for a rewarding career with us.
Job Purpose
Carry out repairs and maintenance /Inspection and testing to the 18th edition regulations in a safe and proper manner. New bathroom & Wet Room installations. Ensuring works are completed to a consistent high standard in addition to providing our customers with their best experience of customer service.
You will provide an efficient and effective service as a member of the team, creating an environment enjoyable to work in, to include colleagues, both trade and office staff as part of your team.
Key Objectives
To ensure that all properties are maintained / installed to the highest possible standards and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
To ensure that all repairs are completed within the target response times.
To provide a high standard of service to all customers.
To carry out repairs and maintenance in accordance with current Building Regulations, Health & Safety Legislation, and Association timescales.
Ensure all PPE equipment issued are accounted for at all times and kept safe and secure.
Qualified and competent tester to City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
Ability to correctly isolate and prove isolation before working on electrical circuits.
Ability to carry out electrical test and fill in digital certification correctly.
Carry out all areas of electrical installations to current wiring regulations.
Installation experience with all types of cable and cable management.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Ability to use and understand test equipment to verify all areas of work.
Experience in fault finding solutions
Ability to ensure all electrical equipment is calibrated to regulatory standards.
City & Guilds 2381/th/18th edition wiring regulations
