We seek to recruit a Project Accountant for a successful and established accountancy firm in Sheffield.
This is a permanent full time Monday to Friday role. At the present time, you would be able to work from home and visit the office and/or clients on an occasional basis.
The role will involve delivering technical and non-technical accounting projects for an array of clients. The projects will vary and projects will be undertaken which suit the applicant skill set.
Candidates will need to be qualified (ACA or ACCA) and have some experience in accounts preparation, management and financial accounting. Any audit knowledge would be of benefit but it not necessary.
Ideally candidates should possess up to date knowledge of financial reporting standards.
Examples of the duties that may be involved in the projects include:
* Review and design of management reporting
* Preparation of management accounts and completion accounts
* Financial process and internal systems review and improvement
* Project management
* Delivery of statutory accounts preparation
* Preparation of year-end audit packs
As Project Accountant you will need to liaise effectively with clients and be able to fit in to a team quickly. We seek an adaptable and agile candidate who also has strong planning and project management skills.
