Telecoms Area Manager, Warrington - Permanent

Role Profile:

Reporting to the Cluster Lead and supported by a team of Delivery and Compliance Managers you will be responsible for a safe and standards compliant field operation that delivers high quality positive outcomes to the customer. You will establish and maintain a stable and professional supply chain in your area. You will develop and manage high performaing teams with accountability for Health and Satefy, Quality, financial performance (P&L) and operational delivery.

You will be responsible for agreeing Quaterly delivery plans with our customer and ensuring the tracking, reporting and delivery of the plan to time Quality, time and cost.

As the visible leader of your City operation and aligned to the customers City Manager, working locally you will develop and maintain an effective working relationship based on high performance and open communication. Working closely with your Cluster Lead you will deliver best in class service to Telent's customers.

Typical Deliverables:

Safety - ensure that safe working practices are adopted as the top priority for all activities undertaken and that they are supported by all relevant documentation correctly completed.
Customer Relationships - through regular communication and positive delivery outcomes establish an effective working relationship with the customer such that Telent is seen as the preferred supplier in your area.
Inspection Regime - manage a programme of inspections carried out by your team and in line with business requirements that demonstrates Telent's commitment to providing a safe, standards compliant and high quality service.
Supply Chain - build and maintain a safe, stable and competent supplier base locally through regular formal performance management sessions supported by clear action plans.
Finance - provide support in the resolution of any queries at invoicing, consistently manage supplier's WIP jobs to the minimum possible value and work with Commercial and Supply Chain Management colleagues in the preparation of items for approval by the RFA Board.
Line Management - set clear business aligned objectives and hold regular 1:1 reviews with all your staff.Business Operations Skills - Experience:

Knowledge of NEC 3 framework contract an advantage
Experience of Project/Delivery Management.
Leadership - be a role model for your team and the visible leader of your area operation to the customer.
Results Focussed - be able to achieve results through managing your team to clear targets.

Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:

IOSH Managing Safely Educated to degree level in relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience
Prince 2 or MSP Practitioner accreditation is preferred though not essential for this role.
