Data Manager
Data Manager required for long term temporary role in Sheffield Academy **
Your new company
You will be working in a 11-16 Secondary Academy in Sheffield who are part of a large Academy Trust. The school are constantly working towards improvement and have high standards for all their students and staff.
Your new role
This is a temporary role which is due to start at the end of September and will potentially be until the end of the Academic Year 20/21. The position is full time and hours are 8am-4pm. Your main duties will include:
* To lead on the provision of statistical analysis of learner data and examinations information in a meaningful and timely way
* Lead on the production of statistical data for external bodies to the academy
* Ensure data produced meets statutory requirements and initiates funding streams correctly
* Facilitate and administrate the Academy reporting process according to the Progress and Curriculum calendar including quality assurance, printing and distribution of learner reports
* To work with the Academy Nova T timetable, Director of Operations and Vice Principal on end of year routines, updating the Course Manager aspect of SIMs
* Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of Academy data held within the organisation, checking on the integrity of information and proposing effective action to remedy any known problems
* To research and respond to changes in education that may impact on the Academy's requirement for Data to plan for operational and strategic decisions in that regard
What you'll need to succeed
You must be immediately available for work, and be available for the next 12 months. You must have an Enhanced DBS which is registered on the Update Service. You must have previous experience working as a school data manager and have knowledge of using SIMS and Nova T. Commitment to your own personal growth and delivering the best quality service are imperative. References will be requested.
