Vetro Recruitment has a great opportunity for Female Support Workers to join services in various locations across Blaenau Gwent, supporting adults with learning disabilities. *This role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1. - open to female applicants only due to the intimate nature of the care that is needed.
Salary: GBP8.72 - GBP8.89 ph + GBP62.64 for sleep shifts
Overtime is available
Location: Blaenau Gwent; Ebbw Vale, Rassau & Blaina
Permanent work on a variety of contracts; 16 / 20 / 25 / 30 hours per week
Shift Times: Varied; the projects are open 24/7 so shifts will vary throughout, including evenings, sleeps and weekends. Rotas are always planned in advance, so you always know where you are!
With full and part time hours available, this is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference to people's lives and establish strong community relationships.
Providing support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, older people, people with Autism and physical disabilities. The successful candidate will be a driver with a passion for making a genuine difference to people's lives and work for an employer that really cares about you.
Providing support within supported living services with daily living skills and household tasks as well as supporting individuals in the community with activities such as going to the cinema, day trips shopping and enjoying meals out.
Requirements:
Experience within a care setting is desirable but not essential if you have some personal experience of caring for someone
Flexibility and a good work ethic
You must have a full drivers licence
You must be over the age of 18Benefits
