Our client, a successful & expanding upholstery manufacturer requires a driven & hands-on Production Manager to join their thriving operation based in Deeside.
The purpose of Role:
Provide strategic and operational direction and leadership in all aspects of production management operations, warehousing and distribution, facilities and maintenance management, health and safety, procurement, and people management.
Overseeing the day to day operations across 3 sites in North Wales, liaising with the Operations Managers to ensure output targets to meet our customer requirements and standards are met.
The investigation/ implementation of professional management information, system management including but not limited to:
Stock Control
Bills of material
Material scheduling
Contribute to the strategic vision of the division as part of the senior leadership team and Lead senior colleagues to effectively contribute to the business growth strategy.
Delivery of Divisional financial targets. Deliver a culture of Continuous Improvement delivering efficiency and maximising productivity in the operations through the leadership team.
Develop and coach managers into effective managers of processes and people to deliver strategic objectives and targets.
Engage employees with effective communication and regularly review performance of direct reports to identify talent for potential progression and succession planning.
Consistently deliver operational KPIs (labour, materials, transport, etc) for the Division while simultaneously developing a culture of continuous improvement.If you are a leader with gravitas and solid production management experience within busy manufacturing operation please do not hesitate, this could be the perfect role for you
