A leading web development and creative digital agency which cover a variety of industry sectors across the globe, have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level PHP Developer to join their team, based in Newcastle. The successful PHP Developer will be working alongside a small but perfectly formed group of digital experts and the perfect Web Developer would be skilled in PHP and Laravel, but other MVC techniques will be considered. The ideal PHP Developer will have a passion for all things web based and a desire to develop their skill set, and experience working in a digital agency would be advantageous. As a PHP Developer, there will be the opportunity to work on greenfield projects for high end clients and the successful PHP Developer is encouraged to take ownership of projects too! Adaptability and willingness to learn is key; knowledge is power and sharing that knowledge is what makes the team so great. Teams are made up of pods and are very tight knit also working on various projects together and allowing problems to be solved effectively.
Skills:
PHP, including legacy and MVC techniques (Laravel, Symfony or similar)
OOP
Relational databases, MySQL
PSR coding standards
Experience with version controls, GitBonus Skills:
ORM experience
