What to know about this role?

The role of PPC Manager is a fantastic opportunity to define and deliver a 'best in class' paid search, display & remarketing campaign management encompassing Google Adwords, Bing Ads, audience management that brings to life Atlanta's brand and propositions to our customers.

There is a vision to bring PPC In-House and this role is a brilliant chance for a talented, dynamic individual, experienced in driving successful campaigns, to blend expert search campaign creation with an analytical mindset. The PPC Manager will ensure the business keeps up with 'best in class' digital marketing developments and drives the strategy from its own internal expertise, reducing the reliance on external agencies.

The PPC Manager will be the marketing lead for establishing the right search & display advertising frameworks and will set the direction for marketing colleagues and business leads to follow. They will work closely with colleagues across analytics, content, social and web development and with marketing teams in our businesses across the UK.

On a daily basis, the PPC Manager will work with the marketing team and business owners to plan, create, and execute campaigns to drive sales, lead generation and engagement amongst their audiences. In addition to search based strategies they will also be responsible for managing the relationship with our agency partners for programmatic display and remarketing activities.

This opportunity will suit a hands on, commercially minded PPC expert ideally with an agency background, who is looking for a role that enables them to set the PPC strategy for the business across the current 3 brands and further future brands, as the organisation acquires more businesses through its ambitious growth strategy.

As the business and demand grows, there is a chance to grow the team with it and enable the PPC strategy to become the benchmark for other key areas such as SEO.

What responsibilities will you have?

Creation of new PPC campaigns based on business objectives
Continuous management and optimisation of existing campaigns across search and display providing analysis of current campaigns and making recommendations for improvement
Ensuring a consistent tone of voice and style across search ad copy and display banners
Managing weekly calls with business leaders to present performance, results and areas for improvement
Managing relationships with Google, Bing and other key account managers
Driving results through use of new technologies and key supplier AI developments
Training/upskilling and providing key learnings and feedback to colleagues across our business
Analysing effectiveness and performance of programmatic display and remarketing campaigns and assisting with the management of an agency with a view to bring in house at a future point
Providing competitor insight to key stakeholders and making recommendations for new products to target via search marketing
Managing spend and ROI reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and providing key stakeholders with the information needed to assist operational performance.
Being able to work to a budget and deliver consistent results within budget

What skills & experience do you require?

Experience in PPC & Programmatic marketing and digital acquisition
Financial services experience preferable but not essential
Super user of Adwords, DoubleClick, Bing Ads and other PPC platforms
HTML and other coding language knowledge preferred
Clear understanding of Google analytics and other digital marketing platforms
Strong demonstrable experience in display and remarketing and other non-search engine paid for digital campaigns
