Product Quality Engineer
Taking ownership of product Quality at a manufacturing site, you will operate in a niche hi-tech field and play a vital part in driving forward product quality improvement across the site, you will work closely with cross functional engineering teams on various Quality issues and product failures' and be the point of contact for everything quality!!
The senior management team is based at the Southampton site, so you will be the face of quality in Rugby and lead investigations of product failures both through production and customer returns. You will work closely with multiple departments to look at processes and areas to improve to prevent failures in the future, you will need to be a strong character and be able to prioritise work as departments will look to you for advice and guidance on quality issues.
lean manufacturing principles are deployed at the heart of all manufacturing activities so an understanding of that coupled with strong experience in a manufacturing environment will be essential.
A creative approach to problem solving is key
For this role we are looking for:
