Growing games development house seeking Unity Developer for exciting release in 2021. Up to GBP40,000 per annum

Your new company
Your new organisation will be an independent AAA games development house based in Sheffield. As they're expansion continues, they're seeking a Unity Developer to push forward on the release of an exhilarating project in 2021.

Your new role
Within this role, you'll provide the development team with technical solutions to ensure the integrity of the project, pushing towards the end goal and creative vision. You'll be using established games Middleware as you write top draw code for AI, Collision Detection, Physicals and Graphical code, championing the standards of the teams to ensure the solution meets the clients exceptions. You'll be responsible for the planning and tracking of task lists, ensuring sprint milestones are hit and delivered on time. Working with new tools, you'll integrate them into the pipeline to instil new feature sets into the game, troubleshooting the codebase, art pipeline and logic flow as required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this role, you'll either have experience of working on AAA titles, or hold a Computer Science/Games Development degree, with the ability to showcase some of your current portfolio. You'll be able to example the tools you've used, and how you've worked to production schedules and the development of technical documentation. You should be able to communicate effectively and clearly with cross-specialism teams on technical subjects to ensure requirements are understood and met.

You'll need a good knowledge of Unity games development and Unity Engine, along with C# experience including games architecture and optimisation. You'll be able to debug products ready for the solution to enter the QA phase and eventually the market, working on games that are available cross platform (Playstation, Xbox, PC). if you can evidence any abilities with Unreal Engine, CryEngine, Frostbite or similar engineers, this will make you application stand out, along with knowledge of version control systems and prototyping.
