Family Solicitor - Bristol

We are recruiting for an experienced Family Solicitor on behalf of our Client, a well-established legal services organisation, based in Bristol in a commutable location from Cardiff, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Due to impressive growth within the team, the firm are looking for a number of Solicitors to join their busy Family department. Owing to their sustained success, the firm did not make any redundancies or furlough any staff during the covid-19 pandemic.

This position is open to applications from Solicitors and Legal Executives with a minimum of 2 year' PQE. The successful candidate will have extensive prior experience managing a mixture of Private Family caseloads, with experience dealing with divorce, separation, financial settlements, cohabitation and children law.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • managing a mixed caseload of family matters, undertaking active negotiation and mediation to get the best results for your clients
  • drafting and auditing legal documents and correspondence
  • work with the team to share knowledge and support more junior members in the team
  • continually develop your legal knowledge in all areas of family law, keeping up to date with appropriate protocols and court process in order to provide technical support to colleagues and make the right decisions

You will also be expected to provide advice to clients on the best legal action available to them.

This would be a full-time permanent position with great benefits including flexible working hours and remote working.

The salary on offer is GBP - GBP dependent on previous legal experience. A benefits package including free spa and gym access & free parking is also on offer.
