37 hours, Monday to Friday, flexible and agile working

Joining us as an Assistant Neighbourhood Officer you will support the delivery of the housing management function for supported housing services that are provided directly or through a managing agent.
Developing effective partnerships with managing agents and care / support providers, you will monitor and manage offers, complete tenancy sign ups, process terminations, void checks and undertake new tenancy visits. Liaising with local authority housing and social services to ensure customer excellence, you will deal with housing related queries, carry out regular monitoring inspections at schemes, property MOT visits and complete core monitoring data.
Candidates will hold GCSE Maths and English (Level A - C) or equivalent, with proven experience in the same or similar role and of providing information, advice and guidance and dealing with problems and complaints promptly and effectively.
With knowledge of current housing legislation, including welfare benefits and excellent communication skills. You will have experience using Microsoft Office software and internet communications and the ability to work under own initiative and manage difficult situations.
A professional qualification housing or related qualification would be an advantage. An enhanced DBS is required for this role in accordance with safeguarding policies and a full and current driving licence and daily use of own car insured for business mileage is essential.
