We are looking for an inspirational Manager for a very busy Nursery in Aston, Sheffield, S26.
The nursery has a blended team of well trained, experienced and highly competent practitioners, and enthusiastic young staff eager to learn and progress. The team is looking forward to working with, and for, a manager who can lead from the front, lead by example, motivate, encourage and develop the nursery to achieve even higher standards for the children in their care.
The new manager will have experience in running a private day care setting, or experience of acting as a Deputy in this role and will be confident in communicating with staff, families and other professionals as required.

Job Description
As a Manager you will have responsibilities for the day to day running of the setting, taking responsibility for all aspects of service development, operational and legislative compliance, safeguarding, staff management and development, as well as liaising with professionals and the families of the children and prospective clients on a day to day basis.
Person Specification
Level 3 Childcare Qualification (minimum).
Commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
Experience of working in a childcare setting with a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development, and the ability to plan for and provide age appropriate activities.
Experience of working within expectations of relevant legislation such as Health & Safety, Safeguarding, etc. and within Ofsted's regulatory framework
Great organisation skills with the ability to prioritise own work and show initiative
A team builder with the ability to lead, inspire and give support to all team members
Great interpersonal and communication skills with staff, parents and other professionals
Responsive, flexible and adaptable to change
