As a Supply Chain Import Planner you will support the physical Logistics team to work across our end-to-end Supply Chain ensuring a seamless flow of goods predominantly in response to Brexit. The role will have access to our broader EUAU network but will be mainly focussed on imports to the UK and exports to Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Key day-to-day contact for broker to ensure readiness & escalation of any concerns for each flow of UK imports and ROI exports.
* Co-ordinate all relevant import documentation; working with 3PL's & customs brokers to ensure DIFOT targets are met.
* Ensure seamless flow of documentation & duty facilitation to carriers & brokers.
* Support Global Trade team in auditing accuracy of declarations through partners.
* Support the communication of shipment delays and escalations as appropriate.
* Ensure record keeping of import documentation adherence and audit reporting.
* Stewardship of operational manual that details customs requirements for UK imports and the accuracy
