Our client is a leading Agricultural company due to their seasonal demands they are seeking to employ a Quality Controller to start in October.
Key responsibilities
* To be able to operate Computer systems, equipment and software. Follow procedure for signing tablets and equipment in/out.
* Carry out the required checks on product to maximise material utilisation, including intake checks on certain products.
* Perform packed product checks at agreed frequency to ensure compliance to customer specifications, escalate any out of specification to line leader Stay up to date on any specification or technical amendments.
* Work alongside the Technical team to collect and prepare shelf life samples.
* Ensure all documentation is being filled in accurately and in accordance with site Quality Procedures.
* Immediately report any damage, missing machinery or equipment to the Shift Team Leader.
* Report to a Shift Team Leader on a regular and informal basis during each shift details of any such problems which might impact on Customer Service.
* Ensure that Company personal hygiene, health & safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
* Any other duties you have the skills to undertake which may be required by your Line Manager.
* Adhere to the company's values and behaviours.
The ideal candidate must have previous Quality Control experience, good knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
