Warehouse Operatives

While the use of technology is increasing in warehouses & Distribution Centres across the country, the role of a Warehouse Operative is becoming even more crucial to the smooth and efficient running of our business.

We have over 100 workers on site and are looking for several more to join our growing team

As a Warehouse Operative you will be/have:

* Physically fit and able to work on your feet for most of the shift; if loading, ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
* Practical and organised with a methodical approach to work
* Awareness and ability to follow safety instructions and procedures
* Good literacy and numeracy skills

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative you will:

* Pick, pack & dispatch a range of products
* Load & unload trailers of products
* Help operate wrapping machines
* Project work - which can involve technical training with products
* General warehouse duties as required

In return:
* On-going role
* Working Monday to Friday36 hours per week
* Starting rate GBP8.72 to GBP8.92
* Overtime Payable GBP13.08 (after working 37.5 hours)
* Shift times: 6am-1.45pm, 10am-5.45pm, 1.45pm-9.30pm
* Pay reviewed twice a year in line with company policy
* FLT training offered if required
* Heated Warehouse
* Canteen on-site

* Possibility of permanent roles with BT Northallerton
