About Us

We are The Hospice of St Francis, a charity that helps people throughout Hertfordshire and south Buckinghamshire to live their precious lives well by improving symptoms, achieving personal goals and helping them to feel safe.

We are currently looking for an Online Trading Manager to join us.  This is a new role designed to take our online trading offer forward and reflects our commitment to growing online income. 

The Role

Full time, 37.5 hours per week (with some weekend and evening work as required)

As one of the first hospices to see the potential in online trading with an eBay platform in 2006, we now trade across four different platforms and our online income is a key driver for the development and growth of the Hospice of St Francis to double the reach of our care.

Working as part of an exceptional Trading team, you will develop, plan and deliver online business initiatives and be accountable for the sales and profit performance of our donated sales.

About You 

To join us as our Online Trading Manager, you will need: 

- Proven success in launching new online operations
- Proven experience of successfully selling products online using multiple trading platforms
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth 
- Strong IT skills including experience of website development and implementation 
- Strong customer service skills 
- An understanding of the retail sector and current trends 
- A full driving licence
