Technical Claims Handler
Claims Specialist - Technical Recoveries
To liaise with third parties to ensure the timely settlement of complex and non ABI claims
Core Responsibilities:
* Liaise with third parties to maximise settlements
* Collect, record and maintain accurate data
* Work collaboratively with other EDAM teams to ensure expedient resolution of claims
* Manage strong relationships with the people you work with, both internally and externally
* Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements, including data protection
* Deliver on personal objectives, standards and targets
* Contribute to the #oneteam delivery of your teams objectives, standards and targets
Role Specific Responsibilities
* Complex recoveries such as non-panel, litigation, fraud, LOU, Liability and intervention
* Completion of level 1 and level 2 programme, with continued responsibilities of those levels
Role Specific Knowledge
* Level 1 and Level 2 knowledge
* Understanding TPI's processes and stances
* Business partner and client awareness
* Litigation (Panel & Off Panel)
* VAT process
* Founding principles; Clark and Lagdon
* Case Law - Zurich V Umergi, Case Law - Clark V Ardington, Case Law - McBride V UKI, Case Law - Copley V Lawn, Case Law - Stevens V Equity, Case Law - Bent V Highway, Case Law - Rose V Co-op, Case Law - Agheampong V Allied
