THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a chance for you to join a leading retailer, working within their warehousing and distribution department at their site in Gateshead as a Distribution Administrator. This will appeal to you if you carry recent administration experience, are available to commence work immediately and would like guaranteed work until at least 2021.
YOUR DUTIES
You will work within a small office in a team of three, reporting to the Distribution Manager. this will see you working in an informal, laid back and open environment. Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to work in the office environment, rather than remotely.
Your daily duties will include:
Answering the telephone to customers, helping to resolve their queries quickly and efficiently
Entering customer details and order numbers onto the system
Making calls to customers to arrange deliveries and provide updates on their orders
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
To be considered for the role of Distribution Administrator, you need to be able to demonstrate:
Recent experience working in an administration role
An excellent telephone manner and communication skills
A commitment to providing excellent customer service
Strong IT and administration skills
An enjoyment for working within a distribution environment
THE CONTRACT
This is an ongoing temporary position that will last until at least 2021. The contract is likely to last until March 2021, with the potential to be made permanent.
You will receive GBP8.72 an hour and will work 40 hours per week, from 8.00am until 5.30pm Monday - Friday (with 1 hours' unpaid lunch break each day).
There is free on-site parking.
