Our client, a leading company in the heart of Cardiff are looking for an experienced HR Officer to support the growth of HR Services within the company. Dealing with multiple departments and issues such as change management, employee well-being and company development; the right candidate for this role will be experienced in working in a busy and demanding HR function.

The team are currently working form home, with occasional days in the office at distance. There will be a requirement to work 1 Saturday in every 8, for which you will receive a day off in TOIL the following week.

The Role:

Build influential relationships with key team members at all levels.
Understand key performance issues and people requirements to meet organisational staffing needs.
Offer best practice HR advice and support in order to assist managers, teams, and individuals.
Develop and implement new initiatives to improve the employee engagement and well being.
Support managers in identifying skills gaps and development needs.
Evaluate and interpret management information to identify gaps to support effective workforce planning.
Ensure that organisation changes deliver strategic objectives and are fair and legally compliant.
Ensure positive employee relations are maintained throughout any period of organisational change.
Lead in the innovation of HR practice, policies, and procedures and to identify future developments.
Work closely with management team to support and deliver people plans.
Ensuring a company-wide understanding and adherence to equality and diversity.
Support the company's compliance with policies on the Welsh language.The Person:

Exceptional communication skills.
An in-depth understanding of employment law, HR policy and practice.
Understanding of equality and diversity issues in the workplace.
Excellent HR experience of advising on a wide range of employee relations and people management issues.
Experience in designing and implementing talent management and organisation development programmes.
Ability to build strong professional relationships.
CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
Experience in project delivery, project management and change management.
Exceptional analytical skills, including the use and analysis of management information and data.
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.Desirable:

Accredited Coaching and Mentoring qualification or equivalent experience.
Project Management qualification or equivalent experience.The Package:

GBP26,000 - GBP30,000 depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
